What can I expect when I visit First Church?

If you are searching for a home church or just beginning to consider the claims of Christ, we invite you to worship with us.

We seek to be a Christian community where everyone is accepted for who they are, no matter their background, beliefs, mistakes, or doubts. Our Sunday worship experience is inspiring but informal. There’s no dress code. Our worship team leads us in an engaging blended style of worship songs and reflective music that really helps us connect with God. The pastor’s messages share God’s unchanging truth in practical ways that explain scripture and apply it to everyday life. 

We strive to help people grow in spiritual maturity and in our understanding of God’s purpose for our lives. Our Wednesday evening family nights (from September through April) provide an exceptional way to draw close as a family and meet new friends.

  • Convenient Parking.

    Our large, paved parking lot is conveniently located on the east side of the building. If you need assistance getting in and out of the building, simply pull up under the canopy, and we have a team ready to help park your car and assist you with patience and love.

  • A Warm Welcome.

    If you need directions or information, just ask our greeters or stop by the Welcome Center located just inside the main doors in the lobby. We have a brochure for you that will help you become acquainted with us.

    Pastor Don Dennison has a God-given ability to preach God’s Word powerfully, truthfully, and without compromise. You’ll leave challenged, inspired, and ready to apply God’s truth to your life.

  • Meaningful Worship.

    Each worship service is intentionally focused on Jesus and the preaching of God’s Word. Add to that a dynamic music ministry featuring our praise and worship team, and you’ll find it’s easy to worship God “in spirit and in truth” (John 4:23-24).

    A frequent comment from guests is that from the first time they attended First Church, they felt welcomed. They also comment about how genuine the people seem to be – that’s because they are!

  • A Family Focus.

    Come join us Sunday mornings when we gather as a church family for a time of praise & worship and prayer. The message from God’s word that follows is offered to adults in the sanctuary and to children ages 3 through 6th grade in the Action Zone. There is a nursery available for infants and toddlers. On Wednesday evenings, return for our family-focused night full of Christ-centered, parent-driven, servant-supported fun! Teens are invited to check out what’s happening over at The Summit Youth Center, located beside our worship facility.
